The War Project (A Working Title) 2009
Chaos, anarchy, madness, confusion: war has many faces, all of them human in nature. The War Project is an investigation into the dark and ever present side of humanity brought about at times of conflict.
The result of our research and development supported by the Orchard Project Theatre Residency Program in New York, The Lowry, Redbridge Drama Centre, Jackson’s Lane, and funded by Arts Council England, was performed on the 25-26 June at Jackson’s Lane.
The piece began as a longterm project that has since become more a pool of ideas and theatrical moments that have proved invaluable creatively informing projects such as Translunar Paradise, which drew on research of PTSD in soldiers, and also our latest piece currently being researched and developed, and which we won’t tell you about yet… watch this space for more news…
