EDFRINGE 2010: WORLD PREMIER OF THE BIG SMOKE and OUR AWARD WINNING ODYSSEY RETURNS TO PLEASANCE | BE FESTIVAL AWARD

THE BIG SMOKE

The Big Smoke is a poignant confession of suicide sung a cappella. Multi-Award winning Theatre Ad Infinitum presents one woman’s poetic waltz with death inspired by the lives and works of Virginia Woolf, Sylvia Plath, and Anne Sexton. One performer uses the rich nuances of her unique voice, a completely original score sung a cappella, and a distilled approach to physical performance, that leads an audience into the controversial territory of suicide. Lecoq-trained Ad Infinitum brings to life a courageous, remorseless experience that walks you down the fine line between sanity and psychosis.
