Nir Paldi

Nir Paldi is the Artistic Director for Half-Wit Theatre and a member of the board, director and actor for Theatre Ad-Infinitum. Nir’s training includes the two year professional course at the renowned École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq and with Ariane Mnouchkine at Théâtre du Soleil in Paris. He specializes in physical theatre including devising, modern storytelling, clowning and mask work. Nir’s latest productions, ‘First Class’ and ‘Odyssey’, were both preformed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2009 meeting with great successes. ‘Odyssey’ won the Stage Award for the Best Solo Performance and First Class received a great deal of critical acclaim. Both shows will be touring venues throughout the UK and Europe including The Lowry, Wales Millennium Centre, The Unity Theatre, Theatre Royal Bath, North Wall and many more.
