Behind the Mirror

Man loves Woman, Woman loves Man - but Man has
a mirror image, hell-bent on ruining everything.
Clearly, this is no time for Reflection.

theatre ad infinitum bring you a hilarious cartoon world of fast-paced incisive and touching nonsense Behind the Mirror: a bizarre love tryst between a Man, his Fiancée and his mutinous Reflection. This intensely exciting and poignant love story uses clowning, gobbledygook and mime. Audiences from across the world, young and old have fallen in love with this simply beautiful and highly skilled production.

The show enjoyed great success and critical acclaim across the board whilst at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2008 including: ‘Best of the Fringe’ Observer 2008, a Total Theatre Award Nomination, Mervin Stutter’s Pick of the Fringe, and four and five star reviews from National and local publications. The company were then invited to The Lowry, Salford Quays Nu Burlesque Festival in October 2008 to be part of a double bill with 1927's Between the Devil and The Deep Blue Sea.

Following on from this success the company went on to tour in 2009 visiting four major cities across the UK, receiving Arts Council support, and winning a residency at The Exchange Theatre in New York as part of the Orchard Project in the US.
