Amy Nostbakken is a writer, performer and musician based in Canada. She graduated from Concordia University in Montréal with a degree in Theatre Studies in 2005. After Concordia’s broad theatre training Amy narrowed her field to pursue movement based theatre. She took off to Paris and trained for two years at L’École International Jacques Lecoq where she graduated in 2007. In London she has performed in numerous fringe productions including The Muse and In Memory of My Feelings that have all incorporated her love of physical theatre as well as music, mask and the slight absurd. Amy devised and performed Ad Infinitum’s production ‘First Class’ at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2009 which received immense critical acclaim. Amy has written, composed and will perform Ad infinitum’s upcoming one woman show ‘The Big Smoke’ which will premier at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2010.
